What you'll need:
- Phillips screwdriver
- New DLP Lamp (You can buy it from Discount-Merchant.com)
- Gloves are recommended
Note: You should handle the bulb with gloves or a lint-free cloth. Oils from your fingers can damage the bulb!
This is what happens when you touch the lamp with bare hands
1. Oils from your fingers get on the glass of the lamp.
2. When the lamp is on, the oils help heat up that particular spot on the lamp, called a hot spot.
3. That hot spot can shatter the glass on the lamp.
NOTE: The lamp can still be usable, but there will be a noticeable shadow in the picture.

No picture
Make sure that the power cord is unplugged into a grounded electrical outlet.
Makes sure that the power button is turned on.
Look in the left air vent to see if the lamp is on
The picture is distorted
Check if there is interference from other electrical appliance, car, motorcycle or fluorescent light.
The abnormal patterns on the picture
Check that the input source cable is connected securely and correctly to the back of the RPTV.
Make sure that the video source is within the range of the RPTV. Compare the video input source's specifications with the RPTV specifications.
There is a Picture but no sound
Make sure that the volume is not turned down.
Make sure that the sound is not muted
Make sure that the internal speakers are not turned off
