RCA HD50LPW175 no pic, no sound
I have a RCA HD50LPW175 that has no picture or sound. It is getting power because the indicator lights go on. I tried changing the bulb, but that didn't work. When I turn it on, the indicator lights come on I hear a whirr and a click. After a little bit the lights will turn off and then flash five times. Then the set will shut off completely. If I try to turn it back on it will do the same things over.

that could be a problem with your color wheel.
Since your color wheel is not working properly that's why it shuts down. Your TV cant complete the "turning on" cycle.

Just so you know, I tried to turn it on a day later just for kicks....and the silly thing worked! So far it's working OK, but I'm not holding my breath. It's been buggy since day one.
Now if I could only stop it from continuously adding garbage channels.....
