i just replaced the color wheel on my samsung dlp tv... unfortunately, i somehow lost the sound on the tv - i must have unplugged something. any ideas? thanks, Sean

it could be a number of this specially around the light engine it could be something as simple as the lamp. Post a more detail comment.

Thanks for your post... The lamp was replaced a few months prior, so I doubt its the lamp. And after replacing the color wheel (which had shattered) recently is when the problem of loss of sound occured. The picture looked great (sharp and bright), but zero sound. I tried all the different Inputs and no sound (all channels)... When I opened it back up, I noticed there was one black wire with a metal tip that was not attached to anything (on the side of the audio input jack section)... I think that's it.
