light engine
Looks like I need a Light Engine... The part number is 273011 and I cannot find one. Does anyone have one or any other thoughts? I hear that I only need a color wheel... but you cannot buy it alone. Everywhere I look states this particular light engine has been discontinued. Model # M50WH74S .... I cannot believe that I just need to throw this tv away.... and I have 2 ballast and 2 bulbs.

Who said you needed a new light engine? I'd check dealers and service centers. DM may have engines? They have like a billion parts in stock?
