wd73732 colors go blue and purple
I have a mitsubishi 73 inch 1080 dlp tv. After about 45 minutes of watching the tv the colors go mainly blue and purple. If you turn it off for a while and turn it back on ok for 30 to 45 min again and same thing happens has anyone had same problem color wheel or light engine?

These were the exact same symptoms I had with a bad optical sensor on the color wheel.
About 30 to 45 minutes, the the color would go off. I also got some jitter of the color.

I FOLLOWED LIBERATOR'S ADVICE. CORRECTED MY PROBLEM. I'VE DONE NOTHING AT THIS TIME TO IMPROVE THE COOLING. GONNA SEE HOW LONG IT LASTS. ORDERED EXTRA SENSORS. IF IT GOES BAD AGAIN I'LL MODIFY THE AREA TO ALLOW MORE COOLING.

I replaced the sensor too but now I have an Orange Lamp indicator ...
