screen goes black then comes back on intermittently. Also occasionally gets a gray haze over the top half of the screen, this goes away if tuned off then back on. Also taking longer to power on. Any guesses? I was going to change the bulb but its rather expensive if thats not the problem.

when it goes black look at the back of your tv. see if the lamp is still on. I am guessing it could be the digital board. please check out our post on http://www.hometheatershack.com/forums/ ... ems-7.html these are known to have digital board issues. if it's the digital board it most likely just needs the solder reflowed and we found a guy to do it. if your lamp is still lit when the screen is black it's not the lamp.
