Hoping someone could provide some direction. TV was replaced by Sony, but I was hoping to replace optical block myself and in the process of removing the part, I sheared off a connector of a ribbon cable. It is copper colored on one side and silver on the other and is labeled PMI002924. I tried a few place I found on the net, as well as the local TV place, but no luck.

Any help on finding the part, or of this is the wrong place, the right place to ask, would be greatly appreciated.

sorry to hear that!
this is a difficult part to find you might want to try getting a full cable set, but even then that will not guarantee it will come with the ribbon...
