I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH MY BIG MITSUBISHI WD52825 PROJECTION TV, IT TURNS ON BUT WHEN IT IS ON IT BLINKS A LIGHT IN FRONT AND YOU CAN SEE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ON THE SCREEN, THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE US THIS TV SAID THEY CHANGED THE LAMP SO I AM WONDERING WHAT THE PROBLEM IS. ANY KIND OF HELP WOULD BE NICE PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

hello,
If the lamp is new and of brand (Philips or Osram) then I would suggest changing your ballast next, given the symptoms you describe,
It is easy to do (you can find videos on youtube.com) and the part is relatively inexpensive
