Tv runs then turns off power button flashes 5 times goes blank still has sound then about 3 minutes later flashes 5 times again then I get picture then does it all over again. I removed the bulb door and ran a blowdryer on cool blowing on the bulb and still does it. Please help me. Thanks

Did you recently replace the lamp? now before the tv shuts off, is there any distortion or discoloration on your screen? if not and you have a new lamp then this is most likely just a ballast issue and an easy/cheap fix. if not then I would recommend changing the lamp first...
