Black and White Checkerboard pattern w/sound
Hi all. I'm having a problem with my DLP unit. When turned on this chekered screen is all i see but there is sound. I change channels but this is the frozen screen i see although the sound changes as the channels change. This happened a few times last month and i unplugged for a while which temporarily fixed the problem. Now that doesn't work anymore. Is there a particular board which needs replacing ??? Any suggestions ?? Model # HLR4266WX/XAA.... Thanks

Hello hammalamma,
This looks exactly like an issue with your RPTVs DMD board, (unless you moved around the service menu settings...) most likely you will need to replace the complete light engine since the DMD board is almost always sold as a unit with the complete assembly, however it is an easy installation!
