I have a MITSUBISHI WD-62530 LCD projection TV and just bought a new housing lamp. It's a replacement from when I bought the tv new in 2007....the problem is my tv shuts off after a few minutes once I turn it on after it being off for the night. I have to keep turning it on after it turns off and only after about 5 times it stays on...anyone know what the issue is? The lamp light doesn't stay on once the tv turns on completely and there is no indication that anything else is wrong, i.e. no noise or buzzing sounds?? Help please.

It can be a number of things. First the lamp it's fine and it is lighting up. More than likely the ballast is not sending the right voltage to your lamp. If the lamp light is on at anytime you may also need to reset the lamp timer. That might help.
