hls6187w dlp one red led flashing
replaced ballast and temp sensor,tv still powers on for about 10 seconds(long enough to get picture)then right back off with the one temp/standby led flashing...any help is greatly appreciated samsung is no help at all and d-m suggested the ballast that didnt fix the problem.I am at a loss and ready to cut my losses.

Hello newguy23.
Before you starting suspecting on having a defective ballast, did you check your lamp?
Normally these lamps last between 2 – 3 years under normal usage (6000+ hrs). another question is have you cleaned the inside of the TV? This is so we can discard overheating as the source of the problem.
