sony 42" wega

I have a 42" sony wega projection TV, it is starting to get a red and greenish stip on the top of the screen. Unsure how to fix the problem.

if the projection wega you have there is DLP. the problem is more than likely due to a faulty color wheel.
It can easily be replaced. Not very expensive.
