Hi Guys,

I have a samsung HLP5063wx/xaa well I was watching tv and out of no where my tv turned off and the power button is blinking 3 lights. Timer, Lamp and Standby/Temp. Does anyone know what this error is. I bought this tv from a pawn shop so I don't have to book to it or anything. Also if you do know whats wrong can you also tell me how to fix it.

do you know how old is the Tv? or do you know when was the last time that the lamp has been replaced? i recommend you to pay atention to any kind of weird noises before it went off and after?

Hello Johnrot,

I'm not sure the age or when the lamp was last replaced. When I turn on the tv I hear the audio but no visual. Then it would turn off and do that error I listed. Then it will try and turn on again and you hear that it's tring to load or turn something on. You can hear a low Bzzzzz sound coming from it before it turns off again. A guy I work with thinks it also might be the lamp.

OK i see, well if you don't have any other symptom it seems that it is the lamp only
