lamp for Mitsubishi WD52531

Received new lamp for TV. It doesn't fit in housing. The retainer clips are too small to hold lamp in housing. Is there a fix for this?

Correct me if I’m wrong but is you lamp part number 915P043010? If so then I think I know the problem. you probably got a new Philips lamp, if so the you need to take of one or two metallic clips, that you wont need any more.
