when the tv starts it has wavey green lines on top and bottom. have to turn tv on and off several times to fix.

This can be your digital video board or your DMD board, an easy way to trouble shoot is to try an analog input like coaxial or component vs a digital DVI or HDMI input, if you do not receive any distortion with a digital input, then I would put my money on the digital video board!
