Can anyone suggest where to buy a DMD chip for a Mitsubishi WD-73c9? I am getting white and black spots that are there even when the menu is on screen.

A safer bet is to purchase the Complete DMD board. as long as you make sure that the part number on the actual board and that the listing is for the same brand and screen size.
HAve you removed the DMD board? if so do you have you tv model number and the part number off the board?
