tv will work great for maybe 10 min maybe 1 hour, the the picture will go black ,sound will stay for about 15 seconds and the the tv will shut down, when is shuts down all the lights on front blink, you can turn it back on it will work normal for awhile then it all happens again, i have never replaced lamp maybe that is the problem please help if you can, also i tried checking the blue switch seems ok and vac all dust out

I would say it's most likely the ballast. The 3 blinking lights also could be a lamp. You may want to try a new lamp if the lamp is older since they are to be good for about 9,000 hours. You can check lamp hours under the service menu. With the tv off press mute 1 8 2 power on the remote and its under one of the sub menu's. If the lamp doesn't fix it them most likely the ballast.

Also clean all the vans in the tv. One is in the light engine behind the lamp. One is on the dmd board and one is on the digital board. Use a can of compressed air and blow away the lint and dust.
