Got 3 blinking lights. Before that happened my picture was very dim. So once I got the blinking lights i assumed it was the bulb. Old bulb appeared to be damaged. (Bubbled with black on it). I replaced the bulb. But TV still has no sound or picture.
Here is what I can tell you.
1. Tv goes through the cycle 3 times. Then ends with 3 blinking light still.
2. Fans,and color wheel are all spinning.
3. Light on ballast board still flashes when turned on.
4. I entered code to reset lamp hours, still no picture.
5. The tv does not make usual start up sound. You know the computer on type sound.
6. No excessive clicking or whining noises.
7. Blue door tab is down.
8. Light engine was replaced like 3-4 years ago while under warranty.
From what Ive read I think it could be the ballast? Does that sound right? Is there anything else I should do or check?
Just seems like it wants to turn on but lamp does not fire up. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
