Hi guys, I have an HLS5086w and today it decided it was going to start having issues. When you turn it on it comes on for about 30 seconds then shuts down and the standby/temp + timer + lamp lights all flash. Since the bulb comes on I am assuming the bulb is still working. I dont want to drop 130$ on the bulb only to find its the ballast, voltage regualtor, light engine etc. Is this a common issue and does anybody have any good ideas?

Well... unfortunately Samsung, does have a bad rep when it comes to their ballast boards. If the lamp is igniting "it's a good working lamp" the ballast can run you only about 80-90 dollars at discount-merchant.com. fairly easy to replace at home.
