I have a samsung 50" dlp HLN5065W. The picture is ok but greyscale like an old b&w TV.
Same when in a menu or connect a vcr, dvd player. It didn't make any noise but is my
color wheel broke or stuck? Randy.

Re: Samsung 50" dlp NO color
Hi ranman.
The problem is not with your color wheel. If your color wheel was stuck then the DMD would turn Off the TV.
The white color is made by combining all the three colors in the color wheel, so your color wheel has to be spinning in order to generate the image you're watching. Most probably the problem is with your DMD board, it might be projecting all the colors and not switching between them.
Since your menu is also affected I think that replacing the DMD board should solve that issue.
Hope this helps.
