New material, eh? I was first introduced to Dat on the Tonight Show, and man it made me fall out of my chair laughing like a crazy woman! I think what makes his jokes so good to me is how almost everything he said felt so true and obvious that it was FUNNY to notice, and realize these things. It's almost like Seinfeld jokes, only in relation to Vietnamese culture, and the society I live in. I'm in the Bay Area, born in a Vietnamese family... so his jokes just make sense and it's good to have a laugh or two about the things he says.

Can't wait to see him in SF! yayyayayaya~ I'm excited!

As for all you crazy people dissin' Dat, I think you need to find a new forum to play in. This is just not your place .. ehehehe.

This is posted on the DPO mainpage today from Dat Phan himself. Things he's doing right now:
The list is in no particular order.
1. My current roommates Matin Atrushi and Ron McGehee are working on selling there script called driving school. I have a main part in it as well.
2. Working on new Stand-Up Comedy material with Chris Clobber. The very new stuff involves very little of my Mom. I'm working on new characters in addition to her.
3. Working on Stand-Up Comedy material re-writes.
3. Learning British, Irish, and Yooper accents.

Yay! New Material!!
