ok, I got an Idea and wondered if anyone was interested in playing star wars trivia? Here's how it goes: I ask a question, whoever gets it right gets to ask the next question, and so on, and so forth.

Ok, First question:

In 'Star Wars: A New Hope', Han ,Luke, Leia, and Chewie found themselves locked in a garbage disposal unit. What was its serial number, and what creature attacked Luke?

I know, it's a hard one; but good to start off with.

Dia Noga was the name of the creature. The Compactor number isn't coming to me at the moment. I used to know it.

Now if you'd like trivia: What was the name "Dai Noga", originally supposd to identify?

Yes! you got it right! I really don't remember the serial number myself, but i remember it had seven digits.....

The term "Dai Noga" was the original word for Jedi. The term was shortened to "Dai", which soon became the term "Jedi".

the name Dai Noga, I believe, was adapted and slightly "bent" from the name of a legendary samurai named Daisuke Nago.

If I may have the pleasure of asking the next question. the following is a three-part question, but one of the three correct will get you to ask the next question:

In the expanded universe "clone wars" comics and television miniseries; what are advanced recon commandos otherwise known as, what sets them apart from clonetroopers, and why were there so few made?

Comics, what? I don't know that. Where however did Goerge Lucas get the name Jedi?

They are more independent than clonetroopers.
The emperor didn't want to make too many, therefore making them easier to control.

Partly the answer, but I'll give you that.

#1: advanced recon commandos are otherwise known as ARC troopers

#2: They were trained personally by Jango Fett, and were more independant because they needed more individual thought.

#3: There were so few made because Jango only finished training a handful before he died.

Bleh. I've liked star wars ever since I was a little kid. I know almost everything from the star wars universe to how much the actors charge for autographs.
